Using one
of Lotta's original designs, you will be creating a
Joey that is from a pattern which is
great for beginners-no paw pads for instance.
In this workshop the focus is on
techniques such as
shading, creating eye sockets, placing and stitching of ears,
stitching and nose waxing- all techniques which Lotta has
refined over the years to help her produce her beautiful
creations.
As with all of Lotta's workshops, specific attention is given to
detail and creating a stunning individual character that will
melt your heart.

At just 16cm (6 ¼”) this scruffy looking
fellow is made from mohair/viscose with glass eyes. He is fully
jointed with a wobble neck joint. The sculpting and shading on his
face and paw pads help to create his wonderful character. Filled
with wool stuffing and glass beads in his belly, he also has a
lovely weight. When he sits in your palm and his head wobbles at
you, you can’t but love him. Scruff is ideal for the bear maker who is comfortable making a
bear but would like to learn and get experience with sculpting paws and
shading techniques.
Silvia will also be sharing with you her unique
jointing technique and essentials on how to embroider beautiful
noses. |

and sculpted and painted paws. Made in either black and white or ginger and
beige ratinee.
Not only will you have a
beautiful panda when you've finished, but you will also have learnt
some of the fantastic advance finishing techniques that make Benson
Bears so special. |
